1. The Winter Farmers Market (Spring Style!)

While the famous outdoor market doesn't officially begin until May, you don’t have to wait for fresh, local goods. The indoor winter market continues into April, offering a cozy bridge to the warmer season. It’s a great chance to grab early-season produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, and say hello to your neighbors.

2. Sun Prairie Creates Arts Night Celebration

Support our local young artists! This evening honors the learning and creativity of students in the Elementary & Middle School Spring Break Arts Camps. It’s a wonderful, family-friendly celebration of the vibrant art scene thriving within our schools.

3. Arbor Day Seedling Giveaway

Celebrate the return of the green season by adding some new growth to your own backyard. The City of Sun Prairie is hosting its annual Arbor Day celebration where residents can reserve and pick up free tree seedlings. It’s a perfect way to beautify your property and contribute to our local canopy! Note: Residents are encouraged to reserve their seedlings online in advance.

4. Explore Children's Museum Day of Play

If you have little ones, mark your calendar for the third Thursday of every month! The Explore Children’s Museum offers FREE admission for all visitors thanks to generous sponsors. It’s a great way to let the kids burn off some spring energy and learn through play.
